Florida International Univeristy, Miami, FL – May 1112, 2016 – Register Here
The 2-day, on-site/regional training courses address the scoping, planning, implementaion, monitoring, and adaptation phases of a marine plan.  Lead mentors will guide participants through a hypothetical island case study that includes elements of many existing coastal regions.  The program is designed for regional decision makers (tribal, federal, state, local), maritime/industry managers, and NGO leaders.

In addition to experiencing the marine planning process, these trainings help to build a national peer-to-peer network of marine planning professionals.

Registration is now open for this and other DEL professional development opportunities: please see our Upcoming Courses webpage, or contact del@nicholas.duke.edu for more details.
