Please join us on December 6th, from 10:00AM – 12:00PM PST for an organizational online meeting to assist us in the transition between our former organizational structure and a new approach moving for moving forward.  Online Meeting information is provided in the text below.

As the West Coast Regional Planning Body establishes itself and moves forward following the October 2016 meeting, the West Coast Ocean Data Portal will transition to a new organizational structure. This change will increase efficiency within the organization, by moving from a model where 3 working groups and 1 coordination team existed, to having a single coordination team along with a single development team.  This will allow the Co-Chairs and a Portal Coordinator to more effectively manage communications within the volunteer network, while working to implement tasks that will be required of the Portal in support of regional or sub-regional plan development.

During the call volunteer members will be able to learn about the WCODP participation in the Regional Ocean Partnership and Planning meetings that were held in October, along with a vision for the types of tasks and actions which will be performed by the teams.
