The ACT covered a lot of ground and highlighted a number of areas where we can use feedback on the data viewer, network meeting, and technical assistance project. The group will be reviewing aspects of the data viewer including planned integration with the WCODP, data layers and themes, and performance. The ACT is also gearing up for the Network meeting Nov. 3-4, 2014 and soliciting interest in providing partner updates and training sessions. The ACT will be meeting with our contractor, SoundGIS, to discuss the project partners we are selecting for technical assistance support in connecting their data resources to the WCODP. Finally, we heard from guest speaker, Ashley Chappel (NOAA) about the Integrated Ocean and Coastal Mapping program and how the WCODN can provide input on their mapping plan and priority areas. You can read the full call notes here.
